We welcome Clarissa Garcia as the first PhD Candidate to join the Witkowski Laboratory. Having completed her Bachelor of Science at California State University San Marcos in 2022, Clarissa joined the Cancer Biology graduate program at CU Anschutz. Clarissa will work on unraveling the impact of leukemia-intrinsic TP53 mutations on immune-based therapeutics. In addition, Clarissa is a 1st generation Mexican graduate student dedicated to being a strong ambassador for underrepresented individuals in STEM. Welcome, Clarissa!!!!
