Congratulations to Megan Miller-Awe on her first publication in Blood. This manuscript (Sparkenbaugh et al. Blood 2023) from the Pawlinski laboratory demonstrates that inhibition of coagulation factor XII represents a novel means of interfering with thrombotic complications associated with Sickle Cell Disease. A beautiful study and huge achievement for Megan!!
